Charlie Hodgson Absolutely amazing guys, you've really taken your sound to the next level. There's a lot of variety and I love all of the synth sounds added, it really is a unique album. I've listened about 6 times and I've only had it a couple of days. AAA! Favorite track: In This War.

zzzptm Reminds me of great work by The Damned and Siouxsie and the Banshees. It's goth rock for a new generation, for sure. One of my fave albums from 2022. Favorite track: Lisbon Hills.

Colin M. I really like the electronic elements they've added. It creates a definite atmosphere and vibe that adds a lot to the tunes. This is a great album well worth the wait. Favorite track: Bermondsey.

kokosakis88 I love the way this band evolved through the years. Every album till now it's different on it's own way, but the sound and the dynamic of it, it's distinctive. You know it's deaf radio from the first note. They've already become my favorite greek act, and I hope they continue that way. Expecting the lp asap. Favorite track: Bermondsey.

1.
Lisbon Hills 04:00
We are habits, filthy rabbits Breaking through the nasty haze Angry spirits stuck in the bottom Lost my train of thought again The age of golden hands Eating lies within our space When I cross the line that shines before you go Falling apart Breathing fine in my old cage I thought we were young enough to run away Tame your dancing The city’s collapsing Caught a whiff of who’s to blame He said the clock is ticking, look in the mirror I can’t find your hiding place
2.
Supersonic 03:27
I don’t wanna be your lover You treat me like a superstar An electronic overthinker Holographic animal She’s a poly, sipping molly Dancing in the Athens night Cinematic streets are calling The city’s getting gentrified I wanna take it to the end of the world Up to the brightest sun of all suns I wanna take you to the end of the line All our wet dreams emerging at last I’m gonna take it to the end of the world Up to the brightest sun of all the suns I’m gonna come to the end of the line They’re gonna take it to the end of the line They’re gonna take it to the end of the line A supersonic feeling set them free Just take a look as they are falling in love And all nobody-people floating above Floating above They don’t get it
3.
(Lyrics by Tasos Livaditis, translation by Deaf Radio) The simplest things we fought for A door, a star, a stand A sunny morning walk A calm dream at night A love that they can’t spoil A song that we all sing But they are breaking through our doors They’re tearing down our hearts Oh, the air smells rain and war Maybe I won’t come home You've got to keep moving on A thousand people passed away Just hold his hand and walk away Maybe I’m out of hope We’ll win our life in the end We’ll be together one day And make the night ours again The air smells like rain and war As the world keeps collapsing now And trains of soldiers passing by I could barely see them through the glass The city died alone The world could fit in our hearts And I was waiting for you Long before I met you People running in the streets Women closing their doors As the noise keeps getting louder There’s no place to sleep I’m seeking for a smile Just to confirm that we exist Our traces lost in the storm Every night they are Taking away a man There’s nowhere we could hide Just heard what your eyes asked Tomorrow people Oh, the air smells rain and war... We are falling into place We got nothing left, cause we’ve lost ourselves again
4.
Quicksand 04:36
How low does it feel right? Haunting colours, drifting over and gone How low does it feel right? Can’t breathe, to feel Wrap them around your throat Broken voices, closer than ever How lower this time? Distant spirits, screaming just to exist Can’t breathe, can’t breathe, can’t So do we feel alone this time? The black sun is up for a while, tell me now So how is it like the other side? Lost in floods of thoughts, all alone We’re growing under common skies As we are forming connections So can’t we stay together now? Our paper planes are on fire We’re back to the start Sinking into quicksand The world is crying, I ain’t got hope anymore Is anyone out there? Hands down, lights out Let the children map the way, for a brighter future The sky is resting on our hands, all our past feeling neutral
5.
Lost my soul in the glasshouse There’s no logic in this trial I can feel it underground There’s a virtual reality I can’t escape Massive sounds and war tapes Bought some feelings to erase But I can see it on their face They’ve got the combination that I can’t let go Angry cities melting down Fought our tension with a smile Lost my grip but I don’t know why I kept my attention on a big flat screen Heavy clothes and empty eyes Marching soldiers passing by All the AI systems got out of hand There’s a model society I can’t escape We are coming out of cage, we are taking down the walls There’s a prison for our hopes, they’ll be covering our voice We got a 21st century phobia And all the well-trained stars They try to hold us back We got 21 problems behind our backs To move on Crossed the city like a mental slave A million problems but we turn our heads I’m on the last train leaving from the fears in my head But there’s a model a society I can’t escape
6.
Engine’s on vibrating the puddles That old rumble tearing through the dark Walls are wet, there are holes in our covers Microdosing crystal fears Let the pill decide Embrace the pale cloud Move yourself online Down the hill let it go Take me right now To the place where we wandered babe They thought we lost our way But I could see it in my head Heaven’s lights, feel the cold every season I can see it coming through the dark Screaming pipes, hear the voice of reason War porn daily - bombs blown near
7.
Havoc 04:10
Flashing lights Dancing shadows Colours and feels You can’t hide from Shallow tides Setting up a fire Seeking the absent lover I’m falling down for another While I was stuck in an endless daydream Calling out your name We’re just gone In a moment we fade And wake up alone I can’t feel my face As we’re dripping sweat Briefly touching each other How thin is the air How this will cause havoc something slipped through the cracks, It’s a liquid I can't stop I keep blaming myself now Doubting my faith now
8.
In This War 05:43
Babe, you got to give it to yourself Got to give it to yourself Feels like home What’d we fight for? You said that we could have it all You said that we could have it all In this war, in this war The city’s a ghost As I am walking all alone I found beauty in this world Empty roads Running away Heavy thoughts along the way Words are coming out like rain In this war, in this war You got me to the danger zone No sign of life My hottest tears came on time Broken pictures of my life Screaming loud Am I getting old? All my fears rise above I let them dry on their own In this war, in this war
9.
Bermondsey 05:54
Down Long Lane I cycled to our place Dropped the bike at the square, walked to Haven I still hear the song of the ice-cream man In the evenings when the sky was clearing Pulled the blinds up, poured myself a drink The red light was carving the carpet And you‘re quietly napping on the bed Half-eaten lunch, muted tele There I’ll sit on my armchair and start reading And this thought is sneaking in like a shadow Will this last? Is it us? Are you willing? I was close, nearly there, to believe it How pointless the fights and the screaming “Tidy up, make the bed, never be late” Now the girl’s gone and we’re just photos The flat’s cold and the roof started leaking Did we change in Havana or later? We grew up in that strange land together There I watched you become a sunset See how time flies and we stay shattered How’s the view from your tower now baby? Did we change in Havana or later? Did we change in Havana at all?

about

Written during lockdowns, “Arsenal of Hope” is the album that made us sharpen our senses, shape our matured identity, and reinvent ourselves in a context of unprecedented change. Social isolation, digital addiction, and lack of human touch are becoming more relevant than ever and constitute the backbone of our third album.

Musically, this is our first attempt to blend electronic beats and synths with heavy guitars and catchy vocals. Combining pure rock energy with a post-disco, dance feel, this album includes some dynamic, anthem-like, sing-along choruses but has a darker, more introvert side as well.

“Arsenal of Hope” captures the unpleasantness of facing modern society’s complex issues. The journey can be long but, in the end, we’ll start blooming. And the ultimate feeling will be liberating.
